ALIEN
Words & Music by Edgar Montes De Oca copyright 1996
I can’t stand my job today but I can’t afford my
dream
I don’t wanna drive straight home but I can’t afford
a drink
It’s been a long long day and the stress is so
extreme
I wish I had a magic lamp that would take me to the
skies
You know it really hurts somedays to be dying as we
live
Why does it have to be this way,is it so to make us
strong
And someone has it worse than me so should I really
be complaining
Do I deserve to pity myself or should acceptance be
the prize
I do believe in a God I believe in this world
But the Earth is falling down
And there are many who try so hard
The saints of this promised land
And I’ve been reading this book about a group of us
here
Receiving hope from the council of nine
And I’ve always believed in life beyond our little
world
I don’t know why I feel this love
It’s more than Earth
Alien can you make yourself known
Are you one from the love can you help us to grow
Alien are you smarter than me
Do you know right from wrong
Can you help us receive
You don’t have to twist my arm in fact I’m quite
convinced
And if you look up at the stars I know your heart
can’t resist
We need to raise our consciousness we all must learn
to be
It’s time to organize all the love we have inside
And I’ve been waiting for you for a vision of you
Wanna see you and touch you alive
Share the thoughts in your mind want you here by my
side
Wanna feel another being
I don’t know why I feel this love
It’s more than Earth
Alien if God is supreme
Then take all you know and help us receive
Alien do the stars light the way
Can I see where you live can you take me away………
